Jodie Davies

Product Development Manager

Jodie has worked within the business operations since 2003, initially starting her career as a Development Technologist. She was promoted to her current role in 2006 and has since been expanding her knowledge base completing an ICT Diploma in Advanced Concrete Technology and more recently a Masters in Chemical Analysis.  

During her studies Jodie took part in a research group producing synthetic zeolite minerals for industrial applications. She is now involved in the design and production of Thermalite, aggregate blocks, pavers and dry silo mortar. She also runs the Autoclave Laboratory at our Hams Hall site, where we evaluate new materials and formulations and their impacts on the Thermalite process and product properties.

Jodie says, “I enjoy the diverse nature of my role and that there are always new technical challenges to work on. I hope to be able to continue to support the business to overcome the shortage of raw materials that is facing our industry, by helping to develop new materials and formulations.”
