What will the apprentice be doing?
Forterra has launched a new Drivers' Academy where apprentices will train, learn and gain the qualifications and experience to become an LGV driver delivering building products nationally once trained. After the initial apprenticeship progression will include the LGV C+E licence and ALLMI lorry loader qualification. Team work is important so supporting the transport depot team is part of every day working.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
At the end of the apprenticeship you will achieve the C licence and Driver Qualification card. You will be required to attend block release training off site for 12 weeks which will be fully arranged by Forterra and is an important part of  your training.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once qualified we're keen to offer as many career opportunities as possible.
