An Engineering Manager working in the East Midlands at our precast concrete manufacturer Bison has achieved an important career goal by becoming professionally registered as a Chartered Engineer.
Dr John Cotton, who has worked for Bison Precast since 2010, was recently awarded Chartered status from the Institution of Civil Engineers following a written examination and rigorous review process.
John said: “It’s been very hard work, but this is a significant milestone in my career. Being a Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council enables me to extend my role within Bison, and I am looking forward to the challenges ahead as we continue to grow into new markets and develop new products.”
Bison’s Commercial Director John Duffy said: “I’d like to congratulate John on behalf of all of us at Bison Precast, for his dedication and hard work in obtaining the distinguished title of Chartered Engineer.
“He has already contributed a great deal to the industry-leading work we do here, and this recognition from the Institution of Civil Engineers will firmly establish John as a leading authority in our sector.”
